So Brian's been telling me about a friday night meet going on in alhambra, so I decided to roll with him to it.
We met up at my house and headed out, and stopped for some gas.

Yesterday, drove down to SD to help Wes sell his 5axis lip kit to Kevin. ok, not really, I was just bored and since wes wanted company for the hour and a half drive, i decided to tag along for the ride. Forgot my SD card, so all I had handy was my phone and its fail-ass exposure. Kevin's rides...

So much ballinnnnn
Others that dropped by, Anthony (fenderub) and Kev's cousin..

So today, I picked up my tC after it had been at the shop for about 2 weeks. I got a call in a week saying it was ready, unfortunately, my schedule didn't allow me to pick it up, so it got pushed back til today...
The shop apparently didn't really know how to install it so they just drilled slots and pushed the tabs in.  So, obviously, the fitment was completely off, the lip being a gap galore. thankfully, the holes they made were under the new slots I made to make it fit so the lip covers up the fugly.

It's a shame I'm going to have to completely slaughter this look by slapping a plate on to avoid another ticket.  $25 = 5 lunches...
I forgot how small cars can feel like after driving the SC daily for 2 weeks now.

Went through my phone and found some old pics I took a while back and completely forgot about..
How can you suck at life this badly?
Anyone know wtf this car is? I wanted to get a better pic of it, but I was busy trying to pilot my mom's SUV (technically crossover) through SoCal traffic.

And look what I had snapped a shot of a while back from my dad's room....
Please keep in mind, my neighborhood is super middle-class filled with camry's and accords. For those that don't know, that's a REALLY expensive car.
Oh, and if you ever wondered what 17x10 +18 looks like on a sw20,

Yeah, gross.
Anyway that's all. I'll leave you with a song that's been stuck in my head for a while now.

Woke up today and walked out to the garage to grab a notebook from my tC, only to be greeted by my 17 (at least) year old dog
Walked in front of it to one side of it
Then to the other side
The thing didn't even lift a paw. Yes, it's living still. somehow.
Anyway, to find out why sc had been rubbing yesterday, I jacked up my car to find out the duct tape that had been holding up my fender lining (temporarily) had come off, probably from me speeding over a couple of the nasty uneven-ness of the pavement in the parking lot in front of the Queen Mary yesterday.  Jacked it up, took it out, and it seems that the holes in my fender lining got even worse...

So, instead of taking the risk of it flying off on the freeway as it happened to me twice already in my tC, I just decided to rip it out.  gave me a chance to see how much clearance i had between the tire and the frame behind the fender when my SC was dropped back down to the ground.  Not too much. apparently, about 0.75" clearance was all I had, meaning I can't really go any lower or with any wheel setup that requires bigger tires.

Oh yeah, got a ticket on Friday in my tC that I just remembered about this morning
Ah well, it was a good run, over a year and a half with no front plates. I was gonna get the tC fixed this week anyway so timing wise, not too  bad.

Took a day off work today and went to TORC. Ended up coming back home slightly sunburned with my SC's front driver side rubbing like crazy, any hard braking or slight turns of the wheel to the right (weight transfer to the driver side) would cause it to rub hard. Weird.. Anyways, on with a few pics.
