Or so I thought.  Apparently it's been decided that I'm going to be working this whole week, aka my spring break.  It's kind of good and bad, the extra money would really help me out immensely, but I did have plans other than work that I now have to abandon.  Oh well...
So annnnnyway, Sunday, I did a quick little oil change to the tC using nothing but the best (in America), Royal Purple.  Went out to Ontario Mills to sell my SC wing that I had lying in my room for probably over half a year.  Came back and started working on the SC as I had planned to do this week.
So for a while now, I've been doing a little project on the SC just for the  hell of it and for a bit of maintenance, which consisted of me taking the whole intake/throttle body/ intake runners off so that I could clean the insides of the pipes, throttle body, and also to get to my IACV which the prev. owner or someone that worked on it had completely stripped the screws to.
I took off the throttle body and thoroughly cleaned the hell out of it
The inside of that and the butterfly valve used to be completely brown from the carb buildup, as you'll see with the intake mani.
Y-pipe:
That was actually after a bit of cleaning...
and then:
All that on the rims of the openings is sealant that I have now wiped off because I bought brand new gaskets for a reason.
Aaaand so I shot the SOB with throttle body cleaner, and it made improvements.
Never knew there were butterfly valves inside of these mani's.  See? this all wasn't a huge waste of time. +1 for me
Now that i was pretty satisfied with my work, I started putting it together, and before I knew it,
I was pretty much done.  I just have to go over it tomorrow and check connections, and find out why the hell I have 2 leftover nuts (that's not what she said).  And as it sits.. and has been sitting for probably way over a month now,

I'm taking a break from studying for my midterm.  yes, finals are next week, yet we still have a midterm.  Figured I'll post up what I'm studying to just because it beats studying

Don't ask me what's going on in the first 2 min... I'm just as lost as you.  Ironically, it made me want a Twix.
<3 her voice, probably my favorite j-pop singer right now.

For the Big Bang lovers:
And for a non-music vid, my sister sent me this: A couple of her friends are building a Ford Cortina with a 20v 4ag in it.  ITB + Open Block + fire = epic

Not really an update just because school crud is getting in the way and work's getting a bit more hectic, but I was able to meet up with the person that runs HIC USA who makes roof visors/spoilers, which is the one I have on my sc.  Pic of said Roof visor:
Anyway, I'm helping him manufacture one for the tC, my tC being the guinea pig. We test fitted a G35 one onto the tC and the G35 and tC apparently have pretty similar side profiles, both being round pigs, so he'll probably end up using the G35 roof visor as a base to make the tC one.  It honestly grew on me as he was taking measurements, unfortunately I don't want to post up pics just because he doesn't want me to post up any.  He's a really nice guy so I want to honor his desire to keep it all secret until he gets an actual sample made that's actually for the tC.
In other news, though I did get a bit of time to work on the Esfidas and was able to get both wheels apart.  I have to say, I'm getting good at this isht, after I found out that the nuts in the back of the wheels were locking nuts, so me trying to loosen through the nuts instead of the bolts was just extra unnecessary effort on my part.

17x12 +0 when you put both barrels together lawl.  too bad the face won't fit inside.
So, until next time, which will probably be after midterms/finals etc, I shall leave you with these.
I don't know if he's awesome, has too much time, or a combo of both, but I won't judge since I couldn't do any of the things he did.

This video, especially that white SC (bigwavesc i think on clublexus) makes me REALLY wanna get my car back together and get it up and running normally.  Hopefully the SC will be daily-ed soon, or at least in the condition to take on that task after I get either the alternator or starter, whichever is shot, replaced..  It also made me wanna get into video making with my d90.  damn my lack of dedication for just 1 project.
